About Me

Jacqui is an experienced and trained Personal and Executive Coach having studied Personal Performance Coaching with The Coaching Academy. She launched Jacqui Morris Coaching in 2016 to follow her passion for helping others discover, develop and design a personal and professional life that fulfils them. As a coach and entrepreneur, Jacqui works with executives, leaders, start-ups, students and individuals driven to improve their opportunities of becoming their best self.

Career Experience  As a former leader in the retail world, Jacqui has personal experience of the corporate landscape and the challenges it presents. This direct knowledge informs her individual, executive and career coaching practices and is further enhanced by her study in mindfulness based cognitive behavioural therapy and her experience actively coaching and mentoring successful individuals and career professionals.

 

Jacqui understands the difficult balancing act that comes with being a busy leader, corporate manager, mum, friend and now also a business start-up founder and volunteer. It emphasised Jacqui's belief that surrounding yourself with people who uplift you is the most valuable thing you can do, especially when you're ambitious and driven to become the best version of yourself.

 Coaching Strategy   The strategy Jacqui applies provides her clients with an action plan of solutions and techniques to achieve the changes they want. Her approach is holistic focusing not only on training, skills development and performance but also on building confidence and personal branding for a more authentic, impactful and lasting transformation.

 

Raised in Scotland, Jacqui's formative years found her working and studying in the beautiful city of Vienna before following her career to live in London and Brighton. She returned to her roots in Scotland in 2016 where she set up home and business on the beautiful Ayrshire coast.

My WHY

The one thing that always fulfilled me was helping people overcome challenges to maximise their potential and exceed expectations. Latterly, in my career, that sense of fulfillment became far more motivating than achieving another promotion or industry accolade.   

 

To quote Simon Sinek:"If you want to feel happy, do something for yourself. If you want to feel fulfilled, do something for someone else."

Using my skills to help others achieve had such a powerful impact on me that it became my 'WHY' for launching my new career and a new lifestyle. 

I've always been curious about different mindsets and the driving force that enables some people to achieve CHANGE and personal growth while others remain stuck and frustrated.

I did my research and chose to study with The Coaching Academy for a new career as a Professional Coach, specialising in Personal Performance Coaching. I also studied Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy with Richard Gilpin and DISC Profiling. I use both methods in my coaching and I now practice mindfulness regularly; it's changed my life!
